In the news just coming in, 6 of the accused in north east girl assault. All the accused men seen in the viral video brutally assaulting a young girl, have been arrested. Such is the power of social media that within just 24 hours of the video becoming viral, the police from four different states of India swung into action and nabbed the culprits.
This despite the mainstream media not covering the news with all its might. This gang of five including a woman who brutally tortured the young girl in their house in Ramamurthy Nagar in Bengaluru have been taken into custody by the Bangalore Police. The incident took place a week ago and the video footage recorded by the accused went viral in Assam and West Bengal. Later, the Assam police tweeted about it and the Kolkata police alerted Bengaluru city police. Based on a tip-off the police arrested four men in Avala-halli area in North Banaglore.
The accused have been identified as Sagar, Mohemmed Baba Sheikh, Ridoy Babu, who also goes by the name Tiktok Ridoy and Hakeel.The woman who was seen in the video is still at large and the police are looking for her. A senior police officer said that they hailed from Bangladesh and all have been residing in a rented house in Bangalore for few years, illegally. They were running a prostitution racket and the victim had run away with their money.
She is just 23 years old. The kingpin of the racket managed to trace her and assaulted her brutally when she refused to return the money. Four of the accused sexually abused her while recording the incident on their mobile phone. After the incident, the victim left the city without informing anyone. But at least she is alive. The video footage went viral on social media, and West Bengal police alerted top cops in all Metro cities including Delhi, Jaipur, and Bengaluru.
The police managed to gather details of the accused and nabbed them at their house after searching around the city for three hours. The exact date of the incident is yet to be ascertained but it is surely a very recent incident, given that they played a latest Honey Singh track in the background as their helpless victim cried for help. The police have said that the victim is still missing and the efforts are on to trace her so that her detailed statemennt can be recorded. All of the accused are now in Bangalore police custody for further investigation and the efforts are on to nab the other two accused, who were also part of the gang including the women who was seen assaulting the young victim, who could possibly be a Bangladeshi just like her tormentors.
The chilling video that has gone viral shows the accused filming the incident on their mobile phone where they gagged the girl, slapped her and assaulted her by shoving their toes and empty liquor bottles inside her private parts. And they didn’t stop at that. They also LIVE streamed it to some other perverts and depraved friends, who watched the assault as it took place. And it’s clear that the men were all pissed drunk, as they were abusing the girl and hitting her repeatedly.
The most shocking thing about this ugly incident is the fact that another woman in a red tshirt is seen torturing the girl along with the men. According to some latest reports, all the accused are illegal migrants from Bangladesh and so they are in for deep trouble given the horrendous crime that they have pulled off here in India.
