What the Rs 500 entry fee includes
The basic entry ticket costs Rs 500 per head and includes 16 specified rides and attractions in the dry park: Family Carousel, Vortex, Mirror Maze, Crazy Tea Party, Children’s Corner, Toy Train, Mig 21, Pirate Ship, Water Merry Go Round, Caterpillar, the Flume Ride at Children’s Corner, Moon Racker, Paddle Boat, Octopus, Eiffel Tower and Spider Wheel. These are mostly gentle family and kids’ rides. If you are visiting with children under about eight, this ticket alone can fill a half day.
An Entry Fee with Food option costs Rs 750 and adds a Chinese combo meal (veg or non-veg) from the food court. Since outside food is not allowed in the park, this is worth considering if you plan to eat one full meal inside anyway.
What the Rs 1,300 Parks Package includes
The Parks Package at Rs 1,300 per head is the ticket most teenagers and adults should buy. It includes the 16 entry rides plus the paid thrill rides: Cable Car, Cruiser, Cyclone, Lazy River, River Caves, Striking Cars, Sky Diver, Water Chute, Water Coaster and the Skyloop, along with full access to the Wet-O-Wild water park. A Parks Package with Food costs Rs 1,550 and includes the same Chinese combo meal.
A few attractions are excluded from every package and charged separately at the ride: Bull Ride (Rs 50), Shoot the Bhoot (Rs 100), the 7D Theatre (Rs 100), Virtual Reality Theatre, the Game Zone (Rs 200 for 30 minutes) and fun games. Note that the Skyloop is a one-time ride even on the Parks Package and has a weight limit of 90 kg.
Paying per ride instead of buying a package
If you only want two or three big rides, buying the Rs 500 entry and paying per ride can be cheaper. Individual ride prices at the time of writing are Rs 200 for Skyloop, Rs 100 each for Cable Car, Cyclone, River Caves, Striking Cars, Sky Diver, Shoot the Bhoot and 7D Theatre, and Rs 50 each for Cruiser, Twist n Turn, Water Chute, Water Coaster, Lazy River, Net O Ball and Bull Ride. The break-even point is around four or five paid rides, and the moment you want the water park, the Parks Package wins clearly.
Discounts and the Annual Fun Card
Senior citizens receive a flat Rs 100 discount on either the entry fee or the Parks Package. School groups of at least 25 children get 20 percent off against a letter from the principal, and registered NGOs get the same 20 percent with an official letter. There is no standard discount for individual students. The Annual Fun Card costs Rs 3,000 including GST, gives the holder unlimited visits for a year, and lets up to six accompanying guests buy the Parks Package at a 10 percent discount. It pays for itself on the third visit.
Nicco Park Timings: Gate, Rides, Water Park and Food Court
The different parts of the park keep different hours, and the gaps matter if you arrive late. The main gate is open from 10:30 am to 6:45 pm, which is also when ticket counters close. Rides operate from 10:45 am to 7:30 pm. The food court serves from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Wet-O-Wild water park entry is only permitted between 10:30 am and 5:00 pm, and water park facilities shut at 6:00 pm, so anyone arriving after 5:00 pm on a Parks Package will miss the water rides entirely. Nicco Super Bowl, the bowling alley, and the Bowlers’ Den restaurant and bar run from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm daily.
The park is open 365 days a year with the single exception of Holi. Weekdays outside school holidays are noticeably quieter than weekends, and the Puja holidays and late December are the busiest weeks. For a comfortable day, arrive by 11:00 am, do the water park first while it is least crowded, and save the dry rides for the late afternoon.
Wet-O-Wild Water Park: Rules, Swimwear and Lockers
Wet-O-Wild includes a wave pool, the Niagara waterfall, a lazy river, rain dance, multiple wave runner, body slide, tube slide, Family Swirl, Pirate Bay and Crusader. The dress code is strictly enforced: only swimwear made of Lycra or nylon is allowed in the water. Sarees, denim, cargo pants and cotton clothing are not permitted. If you do not own suitable swimwear, the rental counter hires it out for roughly Rs 80 to Rs 90 per item with a refundable deposit of Rs 120 per item, cash only. Swimwear is also sold at the retail shop inside.
Lockers cost Rs 200 plus a Rs 300 refundable security deposit; keep the receipt to get your deposit back. Larger bags can be left at the Left Luggage Room next to the enquiry office at the main gate. The only food outlet inside the water park is the Beach Cafe, which is vegetarian and open from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Height restrictions apply on three dry-park rides: children under 120 cm cannot ride Cyclone or Striking Cars, and Sky Diver requires a minimum height of 140 cm.

Nicco Park is at Jheel Meel, Sector IV, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700106, next to the Salt Lake Stadium and a short distance from the EM Bypass and Sector V.
By metro
The most convenient rail option is the Green Line (East-West Metro) to Salt Lake Sector V, the eastern terminus, from where an auto, toto or cab covers the last stretch in about 10 minutes. Karunamoyee and Salt Lake Stadium stations on the same line are also within a short auto ride. From Howrah, Esplanade or Sealdah, the Green Line runs straight through without a change. By bus
Nicco Park lists several bus routes that stop right outside or within walking distance. From Howrah, routes 215A, 71, 44/A, 239B, 215A/1 and S-12 all pass Nicco Park on their way to Sector V or New Town, with 239B and 215A/1 also serving Sealdah. From south Kolkata, AS3 runs New Town to Garia via Nicco Park, Science City and Ruby, and W3 runs New Town to Joka via Nicco Park, Ruby and Rashbehari. By app cab or auto
App cabs from Park Street or Esplanade usually take 30 to 45 minutes depending on Bypass traffic. Parking is available at the park. Booking Tickets Online and What to Carry
Tickets can be bought at the gate or in advance at tickets.niccoparks.com, the official booking portal. Online buyers must show the booking confirmation on a phone or printout together with a valid photo ID at the Online Booking Counter near the main gate to collect wristbands. Online tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, but the visit date can be changed free of charge up to midnight the day before the original booking. Rates are identical whether you book online or at the counter and do not rise on weekends.
Nicco Park is a no-plastic, no-smoking zone, and alcohol and pan masala are prohibited. Outside food is not allowed, with the sole exception of baby food.
